Silkpath User Guide

The Silkpath User Guide explains how to audit a website with Silkpath in two illustrated parts. Part 1 covers every feature, screen and button. Part 2 explains the report: every section, column and filter, and what each check means. Both parts open inside the app and as PDFs you can save or print.

Quick start: audit a website in five steps

  1. Open Silkpath at silkpath.netlify.app. The start screen connects to the crawler server, which can take up to a minute to wake up.
  2. Enter the website address, for example example.com. Open Crawl Options to set a page limit, parallel requests or a delay.
  3. Press Start Crawl. The Scan Queue shows each domain's progress, and you can queue more than one.
  4. Read the report. The Overview shows the site health score and the biggest problems. Each tab (Crawl, On-page, Links and Media, Markup, AI Search) lists the pages that fail a check.
  5. Filter and export. Click a filter chip to see one problem at a time, then export the section, the tab or the whole report as PDF, Excel or CSV.
